Life OK’s popular show Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant (Full House Media) has the best ensemble cast in the given scenario, and every time the actors brainstorm during their free time, they come up with fabulous ideas and concepts to keep them busy.
The last time they indulged creatively, they paid tribute to the evergreen TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi by shooting a video in typical Kyunki style to the famous title track of the show.
Recently, they decided to pull off a Mannequin Challenge by remaining frozen in action and expression for nearly 40 seconds.
Well, we hear that the cast really got inspired by Bollywood actors Sonakshi Sinha and John Abraham to perform this challenge.
Said Mehul Nisar, “Ridhima (Pandit) showed us the Mannequin Challenge taken up by Sonakshi Sinha and John Abraham recently to promote their upcoming flick Force 2. This gave us an idea, and we got inspired. Also, this challenge being renowned worldwide gave us the push.”
We were amazed seeing the funny and entertaining poses given by one and all for the challenge and we quizzed Mehul further on the idea. “Well, we took reference from a sequence that we had earlier shot for our show Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant. It was the grahapravesh sequence of Rajni in our house after her marriage with Shaan. She had to kick the utensil filled with rice and enter the house, but she had kicked it so hard that it fell on our Mummyji’s (Pallavi Pradhan) head. So going by that idea, we have Ridhima in the pose where she kicks the vessel and the entire ash that was present in the vessel is on Mummyji’s head and the vessel is caught by a family member. And the others have their shocked and weird expressions seeing the same (laughs).”
Mehul added, “Whenever we indulge in such activities, we bring in great enthusiasm and it is complete team work. So we got together and rehearsed for two full days before getting the poses and expressions right.”
However, Vahhbiz Dorabjee and Pankit Thakker missed being part of this challenge as they were not shooting on the given day.
Did you all have a good laugh on seeing the video? We would certainly want the Kant team to go wild in their ideas and entertain us double…
